Global sensation BlackPink is officially preparing for their long-awaited full-group comeback. Over the past weekend, the group filmed their upcoming music video at a location in Seoul, signaling that their return is just around the corner.
This new release marks their first album in nearly three years, following the launch of their second full-length album in September 2022. It is also their first group project since renewing their group activity contract with YG Entertainment.
In May, YG executive producer Yang Hyun-suk confirmed BLACKPINK’s comeback for the second half of the year, and the music video shoot indicates the final stages of preparation. Industry insiders have hinted that the group will unveil a concept that’s both musically and visually fresh, igniting fans’ excitement.

Since parting ways with YG individually in 2023, the members have focused on their solo careers. Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have made major waves as solo artists on the global stage, while Jisoo showcased her range through acting and solo music activities.
Now reunited, the quartet is set to deliver powerful synergy and reconnect with fans as a group.
Meanwhile, their new world tour is scheduled to kick off this July at Goyang Sports Complex, further fueling anticipation for what promises to be another historic chapter in BLACKPINK’s career.
